Create Process Limit

Description​

A Process Limit Rule is designed to check the number of process instances that can be executed simultaneously.

Steps to Create Rule​

  1. Click the "Create Rule" button in the "Throttling Rules" tab of the Throttling view.

  2. To create a Process Limit Rule, configure the following parameters:

    • Enter the rule's Name.
    • Enter a Description.
    • Choose the Type as Process Limit.

    Now, click "Forward".

  3. Configure the rule type specific parameters:

    • Upper Limit: When the number of active processes reaches this limit, the system is in an overflow state.
    • Lower Limit: When the number of active processes falls below this limit, the system is in normal mode.

    Finally, click the "Add" button.
